St. Catherine of Siena Parish

Finance Council

As an essential leadership, decision-making, representative, and consultative body within the parish, the Finance Council sustains the parish and its ministries by assisting and advising the pastor (or pastoral administrator) in the following four areas:

1. developing a three-year financial plan for funding operational and capital needs;
2. developing and overseeing the annual process for approving and managing the parish budget;
3. providing analysis for current finance reports; and
4. providing fiscal analysis for proposed goals, strategies, and programs.

In conducting itself in all matters, the Council is inspired by Jesus' words, "He who wishes to be first shall serve the needs of all."
