We are a vibrant Catholic community where all are welcomed, challenged, and supported on their life journeys.

Dear Friend(s),

Welcome to St. Catherine of Siena Parish! It is a great joy for me to greet you in the name of our wonderful, Spirit-filled parish community. Know that you, now, are an important part of it.

While the fidelity and wisdom of long-time parishioners provide stability and strength to our ministry, you and other new members enrich our life in Christ with energy, creativity, and enthusiasm. Our multi-talented and dedicated staff is here to serve you.

We encourage you to immerse yourself in the life of St. Catherine's. One of the best ways to get to know members of our community is to sign up to serve on a committee, join a group, or become involved in a particular ministry. The material on this website is a good start to knowing some of the parish offerings. I look forward to meeting you personally. May the Holy Spirit we share deepen our bonds of communion in Christ.

Sincerely yours in Christ,

Fr. Joe Marcoux
Pastor

Resources for New Parishioners
We are a vibrant Catholic community where all are welcomed, challenged, and supported on their life journeys. The mission of St. Catherine of Siena parish is to inspire, engage, and nurture our community through worship, witness, and service.

Liturgy Schedule
St. Catherine of Siena Parish celebrates Mass 3 times during the weekend and 4 days during the week. The current times are:

  • Saturday 5 p.m.
  • Sunday 9 a.m. & 11:30 a.m.
  • Monday 5:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday - Thursday 9 a.m.
  • Sacramental Life
The Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, First Communion, Confirmation, Marriage and Anointing of the Sick are conducted by our pastor and our pastoral associates.

If you are interested in becoming a Catholic, the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.) invites non- Catholics to enter into a period of inquiry – a period of asking questions about the faith of Catholics and of life in our parish community. If you are an adult who has not been baptized or a non-Catholic Christian and would like to discover more about becoming Catholic, contact Pastoral Associate Mary Boris at mboris@dor.org.

    Youth Faith Formation
Children and teens of the parish each have their own venues for learning about our Catholic faith. For younger children, ages 3-5, there is Children’s Liturgy of the Word at the 9 a.m. Sunday Mass. There is also an additional Children’s Liturgy for children in grades 1-4, which meets on the first Sunday of the month during the school year.

In Youth Faith Formation K-8 families of St. Catherine's share in their children's religious education, bridging the home with a greater faith community. Contact Christine Williams, Youth Faith Formation Administrator, at cwilliams@dor.org for more information.

At the high school level, youth enter into a "ministry" that encourages them to serve, learn the tenets of their faith, and put their faith into action. The Youth Ministry usually meets Sunday afternoons at the Parish Center. Contact Youth Minister Ernest Backus, (607) 257-2493, for more information.

    Parish Life

To get started with volunteering on liturgical ministries, music ministries, and the various committees and service groups, fill out the Stewardship Commitment form.

There are also faith groups and social groups (such as the Book Club or Infant/Toddler playgroup) that meet at various times during the month. See the Calendar of Events for more information.
